Work cover NSW told me i couldnt make a claim because although i wholey worked in NSW but lived in QLD and company based in QLD took me app 6 months to get a layer involved who handles cross boarder cases, work cover NSW accepted my claim. During those 6 months i was on Cenyerlink payments which were paid out of my tax return that year, i then received app $47,000 back money which has now left me with this massive tax dept, i have lodged a complaint with the work cover regulator, they came back with work covers reply that they didnt decline my application because i didnt lodge one but i didnt lodge one because they told me by phone that i couldnt, the person i origonally spoke to looked for my companys name and said that company doesnt have a policy in NSW so i would have to make a claim in QLD which i couldnt do either because i worked in NSW, Work Cover NSW accepted responsibility for my illness and paid backmoney,
My question is, how can someone only receiving Work Cover payments have such a huge tax dept
