Hello,


I am currently in search of a quantity surveyor to conduct a valuation for my investment property. As per the information on the ATO website, it's indicated that only qualified quantity surveyors are eligible to offer tax depreciation schedule services.


However, I have been unable to locate any specific details on the ATO website that outline the qualifications required for a quantity surveyor.

Registered builders can do the reports as well, but usually just for their own projects.


All QS have a limited tax agent registration in order to issue QS tax reports. e.g.
