I am 64 and have to claim PSS benefit by 65 and 3 months. I have a $8,795 taxable tax component and a $24,732 taxable untaxed component. I have not retired and am still fully employed, and I am on the top rate of income tax. I would like to roll this amount in my super fund. How will this benefit be taxed when i claim it?

Hey @dicc01,
We will work out the applicable tax for super lump sums once your tax return is lodged. A tax offset will apply where the marginal tax rate is higher than the maximum tax rate for the lump sum payment.
