The error can occur when a potential discrepancy is raised when your digital identity (myGovID) and the details on your ATO record are not matching.
I recently responded to a similar post Linking MyGov to ATO: Check your ATO record matches your digital identity. Error code: PAB.BR.008
The solution is the same, we’ll need to access your record and confirm your details directly with you to establish where the mismatch has occurred.
