My Digital ID (MyGovID) personal details (Names) are incorrect, I have been to Centerlink, Medicare, been on the phone to ATO and MyGov for nearly 2 hrs, but nobody can either update those details for me or delete MYGovID profile. I'm being told I have to create a new MyGov account, when the issue with MyGovID app.


Am I missing something here?

Hello @Marcelo,


Yes the way to fix your name is to go to the settings part of MYGOVID and then select reset app. When you re open the app you set it up with the correct name and then verify your documents. For more guidance you should check out the common questions and issues page which give instructions on a variety of common issues.
