I want to renew my machine credentials as it will expire 19/10/2023.

I need this done if not I cannot lodge my tax return.

The problem is when I want to login the RAM website, I need to receive an email with the code, but I don't receive it. I already tried with different browsers , and cleared cookies and cache. However, I dont receive it.

So now I am very worried as first I need to solve this before 19 October and I am unsure if this can be done before this. If this fault in the system/program is not solved, I wont be able to lodge in time.

Please assist. Please do not try to say that I do not blame me (as i read in other responses to other people being told them things that they already said this was already done) by saying that:

1) the right extension installed (I do have it right extension/plugin)

2) the my authorization is expired (mine is active)

3) that i need to clear cache (I already done and tried 3 different web browsers) and 2 different devices.

4) it is not in the spam folder

5) the landing page of RAM is empty. The only tab is to input the code that is sent by email (the one that i do not receive)

6) i am the only user and administrator

7) there is no problem with the email address i am using

8) there is no problem with mygovid


THE ONLY PROBLE IS THAT I DO NOT RECEIVE THE EMAIL WITH THE CODE TO ACCESS RAM AND TO RENEW THE MACHINE CREDENTIALS.


Please assist in guiding how the ATO will allow to renew my machine credentials in RAM so I can lodge my tax online AND in time. I need to issue 3 different tax returns and the machine credentials will expire on the 19 October.

One of the main reasons when you don't receive the code is when you're trying to log in using a bookmarked page.


Do you have the MyGovID page bookmarked or are you trying to login from the online service login page? e.g., authorisationmanager.gov.au for RAM log in. Sometimes if you're using a bookmarked page that link will expire, and you won't receive a code.


You've mentioned that you've already tried all other troubleshooting that we'd suggest you try. If you're still not receiving a code, then you will need further help from the MyGovID team. You can read more about accessing online services on our webpage and how to seek further help.
