Ooh gotcha! As long as you claim the right amount of depreciation in the current return. It just means you miss out on your previous years deductions. You can't claim those in a different year.

Thanks, does that mean I can also amend FY2020-2021 and FY2021-2022 to claim the right amount of depreciations since its within 2 years?

Yes, if you have missed details in your previous returns that you could claim and its within the amendment period you can amend them. The main thing to remember is if you are going back and making amendments in previous years you check they are claimable in that year. You can find the depreciation guide for each year on the ATO website if you need to check each years rules.
