I lodged my tax return on the 10th of July 2023. When I checked my tax return status, it says the return has been 'issued', and according to the Notice of Assessment, the return was issued on the 18th of July. However, I have yet to receive my tax return. I have not changed my financial institution nor have I changed my bank detail. How can I resolve this?
Hello @Franceswang,
The first thing to do is make sure that your financial details are correct on ATO Online Services. Then you should go to the tax accounts sections select income tax and make sure you can see an EFT issued on the statement of account. If the bank details are correct and the money has already been issued you may want to have a chat with your bank. If you lodged through a tax agent then you should check with them to see if they have received it or have passed it onto your bank. We can assist if the money is still in the account, however if it has already left all we can really do is confirm that it was sent to the correct bank details. There is a process if we have sent it to the your bank details however I would suggest looking through those first checks to see where it went.

All sorted now! Rang them and they said they had just sent the return to the wrong bank account details, thanks
