Can I still claim GST on supplier invoice where they have backdated GST registration cancellation?

When you say the invoice that you received did not have GST shown separately. Did the invoice have GST inclusive written on the invoice? Have you had a chat to the supplier to ask why they did not include GST it if they were registered? If they have not specified that the invoice (https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/GST/Tax-invoices/#Acquisitionsbycoowners) was GST inclusive. You may need to revise the BAS and TPAR lodgements.
