  • I am getting the error message "Personal Services Income accounts are not required". I work as a sole trader teaching for a couple of businesses. One of the businesses has entered a TPAR which notes that I am paid PSI. On the personalise details page I ticked 'Personal Services Income' under 'Business/Sole trader income or loss'. I am pretty sure that I have passed the results test and PSI does apply. But I can't lodge because of that error message. Please help, I've tried everything I can think of.

Hi @sophielily,

The error you are getting seems to relate a business loss.

Have you claimed any business losses in the past? If you had a loss in a previous tax return. You would need to go into that section to check the information there. If you don't go into that section, it won't allow you to continue. You may need to potentially carry that loss forward or claim it in this return.

We have a great page for business losses you may find helpful.
