I have an existing payment arrangement which I have been paying off regularly. I have received a new NOA with a new debt amount which is not yet due- is there a way I can set this up on another payment plan or roll the debt in to my existing arrangement?
Hi @thomsoa
As 2023 tax time has come to an end and tax debts for self-lodgers being due 21st November, we are here to help with working out the ins and outs of payment plans!
If you are unable to pay the new amount in full, you can modify the arrangement online through your MyGov.
You will need to cancel the current arrangement once the new amount is "due and payable" to allow the "total debt" to be calculated into a new arrangement, as we can only have 1 active payment plan for the IT account at any one time.
