I have tried several times to link my ATO to myGov so I can file for a tax return. Unfortunately when i go to answer the two security questions for information that ATO would have on file it says my information is incorrect ( ie: my bank account attached to my TFN). However I am given an option to receive a linking code, but it is only accessible if I have a way to call Australia. I am now overseas and can not call the number. I have tried using the number in what’s app with no luck. Is there a number I can call while overseas to receive this linking code, or another way to connect my ATO to myGov because at the moment it feels impossible!

If you are unable to link answering the 2 security questions a linking code will be the only way to link.
We understand it can be hard calling from overseas, but we do have a number you can call from overseas by contacting our overseas enquiries line.
