I worked for some guys a few weeks ago for 4 hours, then they did not like me, and then they asked me for my bank account and paid me $120, and told me that I have to pay my own taxes because that's the policy of being a contractor.

I have no idea how to pay my own taxes, and I do not have an ABN, I just have my TFN. Those guys only have my full name, phone and bank account.

I do not know if I should get an ABN and try to pay the taxes to avoid problems, or maybe I could do nothing because they do not have enough information about me. I have a student visa, so I want to avoid problems.

This is known as sham contracting. Employers treating employees as contractors to avoid their employee obligations. See this link. https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/Employee-or-contractor/Employees-treated-as-contractors/

No need for ABN, you probably wouldn't be eligible for one as you need to be operating a business to legally obtain one. The income you earned can be declared on your 2024 tax return, Income item Question 2. (payments from which no tax has been withheld)
