I tried to apply online, but the website crashed. So I applied on the phone 4 weeks ago and was approved. I was told the DIN would be in the mail, and would come the next week.

Since then I have been phoning every week and now daily to get my DIN. I have clients who I cannot sign contracts with and I also have to sign up employees as well as source equipment. I have been buying equipment as a sole trader, but that is not appropriate - its for my business. Its costing me a lot of money waiting for the DIN.

I have rung the number multiple times [removed by moderator] and have reference numbers for my last two calls. They do not know who it is in the ARBS is supposed to have the number. He says it has been submitted with all required info, and he has 'escalated the issue.'

The last person I talked to hypothesised that the number has been created but its been lost in their system - so it has not been mailed or sent to mygov inbox either; but he can't find out what it is, and he doesn't know how to get it.

I have also tried logging into the ARBS website, but get this error every time (regardless of computer/browser): "An error has occurred

An error has occurred and your transaction cannot be completed online. For more information, For more information, contact us."

Please help me get my DI number!
