I am a medical specialist. My referring doctors attend a local venue once a month for a lecture from myself. Some travel from interstate. They pay a small fee to attend and want to obtain a tax deduction for that fee and possible travel expenses they incur to attend my lecture. What do I need to provide them to satisfy the ATO that it is a conference expense and hence tax deductible.
