Hi ATO,


How long does it take for ATO to update the public officer after receiving the Change of Registration Details? Do we have to contact ATO each time we post a change of registration details or does ATO will automatically link the entity to the RAM account of the public officers listed on the form? So far, 5 out of 6 Change of registration details that our office posted to POX BOX 3373, Penrith NSW 2740 hasn't been actioned in the span of 1 year.


Can the change of registration be lodge online and/or a registered tax agent change public officer ?

With paper forms there is usually a service standard of at least 28 days from when we receive the form. If it was sent to the address that is listed on the form, we should have received it and linking to the entity if all details were correct.


Good news is you can update your details online through Australian Business Register or Online services for business.

Thank you for your prompt response!


Unfortunately, linking the entity to our office RAM account never happened/occurred. We lodged a paper lodgement back last year and still not link to our account. I tried calling ATO before but it never got sorted.


Is there anyway you can assist me of checking the status of this lodgement?


Additionally, how can I update the details online if the entity/Body Corporate is not link to our Public officer's RAM account?
