Apologies if this has been asked somewhere else but I couldn't see it.

I have issuer sponsored shares in the ASX listed company for which I work. I am not Australian, and do not have an Australian address - one or both of these seem to be required to open an account with most brokers.

Does anyone have any advice on a broker I can go to, to help me sell these shares? It feels like they're trapped at their moment, but this can't be a unique scenario!

Thanks in advance for any insight.

You need to make the shares broker sponsored - by opening a broker account.

@Bruce4Tax thanks for the reply and sorry for not being clearer. It’s the opening of a broker account that is the current hurdle - they all (that I have seen) seem to require proof of either Australian nationality or residence.
