Once you set up your TFN online, you should be automatically linked to the ATO services. A letter containing your TFN will be sent to your inbox.
You can access the letter and print from there.

Yes I recieved a letter from my inbox, but I remembered that the pdf I opened after the completion of my tax file number application was different to the one in the inbox. After completion there was a page with reference number and a friendly version document to print. I accidentally closed the tab and it wouldn't let me open back the page so I couldn't download it. Unless I remembered wrong. Are they the same document?

The letter in your inbox will not be the exact same but should still have all the information you require.
