I'm a content creator and have been earning money online. I've decided that this year it's no longer a hobby, and more of a business. From my understanding I'll need to apply for an ABN. Should I wait and make this ABN with a professional, or is it easy enough to not mess up to do it myself?

I suggest applying for an ABN yourself on the ABR as its simple to use and free of charge. If you go through a third-party, they will likely charge you.
