My wife & I used to file tax returns years ago but have no existing documents but now we require a TFN or an exemption each, how do we proceed or do we need to re-apply ?

Hello @Pamray19,

There are a variety of different locations where you can locate your TFN and these are listed on our lost or stolen TFN page. Usually if all other avenues have been unsuccessful then the last option would to have you reapply for your TFN. This will get you your old TFN back however it can take a period of time to process and receive the outcome of your application.
