How do I remove our old Tax Agent from our portal so our newly nominated Tax Agent gets full access | ATO Community

Unfortunately when we nominated our new accountant details, the portal does not enable us to REMOVE our old accountant. Surely I don't have to ask them to remove themselves? I am responsible for the company so should be able to remove the old accountant. Please do not send me a link to the "Assign and manage permissions" page because that does outline specific instructions on how to REMOVE your old tax agent. thank you

You can't delete the old accountant online, but they will be removed automatically once both of the following have been done:

Nominate the new accountant in online services for businesses
Get the new accountant to add you as a client in their online service for agents
