I currently work from home for my company that has an office space available but have remote working as part of their policies. If I were to start using a coworking space near my home, can I still claim this as a work expense even though I could be using my companies office space.

Generally, as an employee you can't claim occupancy expenses whether it's your own home or another space you rent. Especially if your employer provides you with a place to work.
