I am on a 482 short term sponsor visa, and I am wondering how much tax do I pay.
Hi @GermanS,
It depends on your residency for tax purposes as to which tax rates will apply. Generally, your visa status won't affect how your income is taxed, unless you're here on a working holiday maker visa subclass 417 or 462.
You can check your residency status by using one or more of our tests.
If you've determined, you're an Australian resident for tax purposes then the individual tax rates will apply. If you're a foreign resident then the foreign resident tax rates will apply.
