I applied for the TFN in the 27th of February. I put the wrong address in there. I don't know what I have to do now. I applied it through myGov. I need to change my address if is not sent yet. Or otherwise I need to cancel that And get a new TFN to my correct address. Please help how can I do this ?

It takes 28 days for your TFN to be processed and sent to you as a letter. We can't make changes to your application after you've submitted it, but what you can do is forward your mail with Australia Post from the wrong address to the right one.
Do not apply for another TFN. This can cause a delay in your application processing because you only get one TFN.
Once you get your TFN you can update your address with us.

Hi I havent specified my address when applying for tfn i just put a general address i did not put the name of my building and apartment. Is that okay?

If it's been more than 28 days and you haven't received your TFN you'll need to contact our individual enquiries team to follow up.
