We have purchased a car on 03/2023 with company name on the invoice and paid by company, used 100% for business use. But registered under the company director's name with RTA, as the director is the only person use the car.

Is this car still can be claimed as business expense?

Hi @FeiWang

You can but as @YEP said its best if it's in the company's name. The company would need to prove they're eligible to claim expenses.

Check out another one of our threads with the same question.

You need to have the car registered in the company name other wise you may find yourselves having other unintended problems that you never anticipated
