An employee has only been employed for a week, did not provide a Super choice form, did not provide tax file number or date of birth (not able to check stapled fund). The super is not overdue. Where does it go to fulfil our Superannuation obligations? To our default fund?
Hi @ellie.beth,
No, not to the default fund due to the missing information. You can fill in a super guarantee charge (SGC) statement and forward the relevant payment to us instead.
You'll just need to complete as much as of the employee's details as possible on the form so we can try to get the payment to them.

Hiya @ellie.beth 👋
Don't forget your obligations as an employer to confirm the identity of the employee to determine if they have a legal right to work in Australia. This is fundamental to employment.
