I've got an unusual case but I hope to be able to find some support/ guideline.


I am on my third WHV now in Australia and paying into my superannuation.

My very first WHV was 2019 and as I returned to Germany I didn't touch my Superannuation yet as I knew I would come back.


Because of Covid this was way later possible and as I returned and wanted to continue paying in the same Superfund they notified me the account was closed and the money got taken by ATO.


Coming to the end of my last year in Australia I would like to claim that back or transfer it to my current Super so I can claim back everything at the end.

How can i claim back Super that got claimed by the ATO, as it was inactive | ATO Community
