My work colleague and I are working for a company, boss has us on a contract for $90,000 a year, full time hours work promised 5 days a week and possible Saturdays. This has all been happening all good We are on abn, $45 an hour, no holidays, no super The work we do we think we need to be paid more not going to go into detail of what it is but it's pretty high end (they're making good money) Is there a way to calculate what $45 abn would be on the books like a normal job? Low key feel like we are getting shafted for the work we are doing and will be discussing this with the boss once we get a few facts + info sorted

Hi @Neil44,

Hmm 🤔 When you say boss; contractors are their own boss.

It may be worth checking out the difference between employee or contractor graph to make sure you're not an employee. A contractor would quote the amount they are going to charge for specific work and advise when they'll have it completed.

There's no minimum wage on ABN, as a contractor you'd decide what the value of your services are. If you're curious about what tax rates may apply, this depends on the type of ABN you're contracting under. For example: if you're a sole trader, the individual income tax rates would apply. 😊
