The FHSS article says "You must make your release request within 14 days of signing a property contract. However, you must have an FHSS determination before you sign any property contract.", however it also says we have 12mo to sign a property contract after a release request.

FHSS article: https://www.ato.gov.au/individuals-and-families/super-for-individuals-and-families/super/withdrawing-and-using-your-super/early-access-to-super/first-home-super-saver-scheme#Releaserequests

Which info is correct??

There are two seperate ways of doing it, you can sign a contract to purchase before or after you make a request for release ..

1/ signing a contract before ..... must request a release within 14 days

2/ signing a contract after .... must be done within 12 months of the date of your request to release.

Each different way has different criteria.
