I’m receiving multiple emails requesting to contact ato urgently to resolve debt matter before it goes to collections.

i have been trying to contact the ato for multiple weeks now to waste my time in a cue, to either get disconnected or simply hearing; we’re too busy try again later.


not sure what to do?


ive tried multiple numbers. Unable to organise this through myGov.

The best number to call is our lodge and pay enquires line. 8am local time when the phonelines first open is usually the best time to get through.


I just want to double check - are you getting letters regarding the debt in your myGov inbox? You can also check your ATO online account to see if the debt is legitimate. With the rise of scammers, you can never be too careful!
