Hello, I am someone who previously stayed in Australia. Currently, I am back in my home country, but I still have income generated in Australia, and I would like to file my Tax Return online. I tried logging into MyGov using the MyGovID I linked in advance, but I was told that my identity strength is insufficient, so I can't log in to MyGov.

(My govId Identity strength is "standard")

Since I don't have an Australian health insurance card or citizenship, I can't increase my identity strength any further. Also, I currently don't have an active Australian mobile number. I want to use MyGov to file my Tax Return, but how can I proceed?

Hey @taka_

The only way to get a strong identity strength in your myGovID is to verify and Australian passport. Without that, the most you can get is standard.

As your no longer in Australia and don't have access to your old mobile phone number, what you'll need to do is download the myGov code generator app. This will allow you to log into your myGov account overseas.

It's available in both Google play store and IOS app store.
