I live in New Zealand but was Doing fifo from here for 3 months obviously I paid Aus tax throughout that. I've been told I'm entitled to claim all that tax back. I'm just wondering of that's true and how I go about it.

Hi @Vincent1393,

If you've paid tax in Australia that means, you'll need to lodge an Australian tax return.

You may be entitled in getting it all back, but we can't say for sure until we process your tax return.

There are a few ways that you can lodge your tax return:

  • by using a registered agent.
  • yourself online using myGov.
  • by sending us a paper form.
