When applying for a dasp pension refund, you must not have a valid visa in Australia. However, given that the ETA visa is a simple tourist visa, I would like to ask whether it is possible to own an ETA visa.

A few of these questions have come up over the years, and in all cases it seems the ETA visa does affect DASP applications.
So, if you have an active ETA visa or return to Australia on one while your DASP application is being processed, it's likely that you'll no longer be eligible. It's better to apply for the DASP after you've left Australia and you don't have any form of active visa while the application is going through.
