FIFO to Perth from New Zealand. Family staying in NZ and roster is 4 weeks on 2 weeks off. Will be going back to NZ for the 2 weeks off. Is this an Australian tax resident or foreign tax resident?

That does not make you an AUS tax resident.
If position was reversed e.g. you lived in AUS, and did FIFO to NZ under the same conditions, then you would definitely still be an AUS tax resident.

Looks like you would still be NZ tax resident.
Will be getting paid to an Australian bank and employer will be taxing me
