Hi! I left my previous work place January 2023. My income statement was showing as tax ready at the time I submitted my tax return on the 17th of June 2023.

However I have logged onto MyGov just now and can see that the income from last year is now showing as Not Tax Ready and is a different and incorrect total amount of income.

Do I need to do anything regarding this since it relates to income from last financial year and my tax return was submitted?

Also where can I find the date it was changed to "Not ready"

Thank you in advance

Hey @rrbbrr4991,

What this means is that your previous employer, lodged some kind of update event in their STP reporting. There'd be no way you'd be able to see when this change was made on your myGov account.

What it means for you is that you'll potentially need to lodge an amendment on your tax return.

Your first step would be to get in touch with your previous employer and enquire as to why the changes were made. It's possible the update was made in error. It'll be up to your past employer to fix this.

If it turns out that you need to amend your return, wait until you receive notification that your original return has been processed before lodging an amendment.
