Apparently my auditor assigned themselves as my Tax Agent last year - we are a not for profit and self assessed non-taxable so we don't need to submit a tax return, nor do we need a tax agent. They never asked for permission to do this, nor did they inform me they had done it.

Anyway, I now want to remove them from our account, but it seems impossible. I can add a new one (which I don't need), but I can't remove the existing one.

Any suggestions?

Hello @Auscitrus,

If you've previously used a tax agent, your entity could be apart of a Agent nomination process. This process only applies when you nominate a new agent, or update the authorisation of your agent.

You may need to speak with our business area to have them manually remove the tax agent on your behalf.
