I can download the ATO NAT1005 table as a Worksheet onto my PC then copy/move this Worksheet into an excel workbook. I've previously managed to 'copy' this table into another worksheet in the same excel workbook, then being able to copy down, link cells, use the table in the normal excel calculation methods. As I haven't done this since 2020 I can't remember how I 'copied' the table and got it to work or maybe excel has changed and I'm not up on the latest changes.

When coping I get the following

The name 'LU_Scale2' already exists. Click Yes to use that version of the name, or click No to rename the version of 'LU_Scale2' you're moving or coping.

  • If I answer Yes the table show #REF! The string looks the same as previous years and I've adjusted the cell number references to suit.
  • If I answer No and I try to rename it, it comes up with Name Conflict/Name already exists on Destination Sheet/ and The Syntax of this name isn't correct. I don't think I can rename as it's part of a Protected ATO Table.

I've tried starting a new excel document so it hasn't anything to conflict with but no luck.

I didn't think it would be that difficult. Any help appreciated

It's taken another half day but I managed to figure it out. No need to reply :)

I've created a similar spreadsheet and also unable to update with new tax tables. Could you share how you fixed the error with LU_Scale2 duplication?

Hi @KristiJ

Have you tried having your workbook and the workbook from our website both open at the same time. Then copying to the new workbook?
