Hi, I'm trying to lodge my tax return but I can't work out what to classify my worker's compensation weekly payments under.


General Salary/Wages doesn't have an occupation option that matches and when I tried the the Government Payments section instead, it seems to have a flaw in that it estimates a full return of *ALL* tax I have paid throughout the year, so I'm guessing this would also be incorrect.


Please could you advise how to personalise the return for these types of WorkCover income payments?

You should receive a payment summary. Income will be entered at label 1 income (salary/wages). Use your what your regular occupation was as the occupation.
