Would someone on Jobseeker be eligible for SAPTO if they are below Age Pension age? I phoned the ATO and was given very confusing information. I was told that I did not qualify for SAPTO in 2023 because I had not turned 65. As 65 is no longer the pension age, this was very confusing. Was it a mistake or is 65 the correct age for eligibility (as I will be eligible this year in that case). Thank you.

Jobseeker is shown at item 5, so SAPTO does not apply.

Thank you so much for your response. I'll go ahead with your suggestion, but finally a bit of common sense and knowledge. I did realise later that a Jobseeker SAPTO eligibility would have to be earlier than pension age.... thanks again.
I did use this tool which said I was eligible for SAPTO. It is so confusing.
