Should I be worried if my estimated tax refund from ATO website is super low, at $714? My taxable income for 2023-2024 financial year is $39,554.00. And my credit/ tax withheld amount is $4,966.00. How come I only get $714 as refund?
Hi ngocnguyen14, That isn’t low. Your employer would be deducting tax as close as possible to ensure you would neither have a debt or a refund.
