I've followed all the advice in previous similar questions - there is no history of this transaction in the accounts tab of the linked mygov account, nor in 'communications'. The hotline isn't taking calls because they are at peak load. What do I do?

That's strange. An unexpected bit of money. I recommend not to do anything with that money until we know for sure this is correct.
Sometimes transfers like this happen whilst we're still generating letters. You may still receive a notice to your myGov inbox.
But if there's no transaction recorded in your tax accounts summary, it may be an error.
I understand that this time of year is busy. But our individual enquiries team is going to need to look into this for you.
