I am being told that as a current staff member employed under SCHADS who is cashing out 2 weeks annual leave (due to excessive leave) that superannuation is not payable on the cashed out annual leave?

Hey @Markw4064

Yes. Super doesn't need to be paid on unused annual leave payments.

Check out this link which talks about when super should be paid.

So that you know, when looking at the columns, OTE means if super has been paid on time and salary and wages means if super has been paid late.

So depending on if it is paid late or not can change if super has to be paid on a type of payment.
