Do I need an ongoing financial adviser to manage my SMSF?

My SMSF has been set up already and have invested on a property. I have paid for the initial deposit and the Strata. I received an engagement letter from my financial adviser and a DD payment document to sign. Do I really need ongoing services to maintain my SMSF? Will an accountant be able to do annual services out of this SMSF? This is a monthly payment to a financial adviser taken from my SMSF account.
