Hi,

I am a pensioner and I intend to sell my existing home and downsize to a retirement home so that i can give some money to my children to help pay for a house deposit. Is there a limit I can give.

Do i have to inform ATO and Centrelink.

Centrelink has to be advised, and there are limits on gifts that can be made.


Best to get proper advice first.
