Like many my parents set up my TFN, and this year I'm finally 18 and need to use it. However all my info, does not seem to match any previous details. I've moved around a lot, but never have changed my bank. However when I go to link ATO online it says everything no matter how far back I go does not match my "current" details. I'm frustrated and the help lines all just say do it online but it's not working whatever I try and then it just hangs up with no option to talk to an actual person.

With the bank details, unless you've lodged a tax return with us before we won't have those details on file. Thats why it's coming up as incorrect.
Try and see if you have enough info to answer any of the other questions. If not you'd either have to update your details or reach out to us for a linking code.
