I am trying to help my Mum set up ATO myGov on her phone but received this message 999 domain error. Have tried logging out, closing apps, restarting her phone and finally logging her in on another device (my phone) per the forum advice. Nothing has worked.


Except that I have now uncovered something quite alarming. When using my Mums login on MyGov on my phone, and attempting to link ATO - my full ATO details were available through her login. There is no logout or unlink option!!! How is this possible ATO?

If your mum is using your device that you'd access your own account from, it sounds like your device is remembering your details. You'd usually clear your cookies and cache to remove the existing data/trace that's already there.


If you or your mum have concerns that your info is compromised you should reach out to our Client identity support centre as soon as you can.
