So I am applying for a DASP and I have been working on a skilled visa for over five years on a 482. I have been with ART Supperanuation this whole five years. I took a WHV back in 2012 and it is flagging on my home affairs when I input my TFN. Does this mean I will be taxed 65% on my superannuation now? Or will I only be taxed 35% because I was only with the one superannuation fund the five years on a skilled visa? Any help would be great. Thank you

Howdy @Harrycashman1,

A Working Holiday Visa (WHV) back in 2012, will affect your tax rate.

For those who have held a Working Holiday Maker (WHM) visa (subclass 417 or 462), the DASP tax rate is 65%. For any other eligible visa holders. Including those on a Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482), the tax rate is generally 35%.

Given your situation, it seems that your previous WHV might trigger the higher tax rate of 65% on your DASP.
