I was a permanent resident in Australia 2005- 2009 and moved back to the uk. I’m 57 in Feb 2025
please can you advise when I can claim my super
I have an Australian bank account with ANZ . I understand I must wait until preservation age (60)
however I’m still working in the uk. Does it mean I can’t claim until I’m 67
how do I claim my super from mlc

It depends on your age.
Generally, you can withdraw super if you reach your retirement age/Preservation age or turn 65 years old.
The preservation age is currently 60 for those who born after 30 June 1964.
You'll be eligible to access your super once you turn 60 in 2027, if you meet conditions of release criteria.
If you're permanently leaving Australia, you can access your super under departing Australia superannuation payments (DASP). This allows only the non-resident or temporary residents of Australia after they leave the country.
You can access from MLC, until you reach your preservation age unless you meet other specific conditions for early access.
