I have been using the My Gov ID app for several years. When opening the app this morning I receive a message to update the app (code CER000001) but when I press the update option it takes me to the app store but no update is available. I am stuck in a loop trying to update it as each time that I download the app I immediately receive this message to update it. I am using an iPhone 12 with IOS version 17.6.1
Hello @WMcGarry,
Yep, that's the one! ๐
This is happening more and more on older iPhone models. It would appear they're not capable of updating to the latest version of myGovID as the software might not allow for it. ๐๐ฑ

I am having this issue since last week making me unable to complete critical work. This seems to be a problem lot of users are facing, however i am unable to find a fix. Has anyone figured out a fix for iOS devices?? I have the latest iOS app.
Hey @SS_001,
Let's try a few other things if your app is up to date.
First off let's try this:
- check that your time settings are set to automatic
- close the myGovID app
- turn off the Wi-Fi connection on your device
- enable your mobile data
- reopen the app.
Hopefully this works but if not the next thing to try is:
- turn off Wi-Fi on your smart device
- uninstall the myGovID app
- reinstall the app
- try again.
If this doesn't work, you're going to need to speak with the myGovID support team. They'll need to investigate it further for you.
