I requested a withdrawal from my super due to financial hardship on the 3rd of September.
The informtaion given says its usually paid within 28 days.
My application hasn't gone past pending and I'm just wondering how long it may take as I have urgent medical bills coming up soon and have not heard back.

We don't have applications for financial hardship, these are done direct through your superfund. Did you apply through us or through your super? โ
You mentioned medical bills. So, we're hoping you meant access on compassionate grounds for medical treatment. ๐ฅ
This one is absolutely done by us and then released by your superfund. They generally have a 14-day service standard which we know we're well in front of at the moment.
If this is what you applied for, then did your application include borrowed amounts? Asking because those ones get escalated to higher departments to have the final say. ๐

Yes I applied through ATO for the amount of tax I had held.
I hadn't filled out any forms, just a withdrawal request which asked if I was on Jobseeker, disability or other government payments and it said it would be paid within 28 days.
Should i fill out a medical form to have this fast tracked? Otherwise it has already been requested for withdrawal on the 3rd of September.
